Dream Catchers League
Dream Catchers' baseball league was founded in 2003 for children with moderate to severe physical disabilities from kindergarten through grade 12. The league is specifically designed for children who would be unable to participate in the summer recreational program due to saftey concerns or a child's physical needs such as braces, walkers or wheelchairs.
Each game will consist of two innings in which every child bats, runs the bases and scores. The last batter runs the bases to score a home run. No team score is kept everyone wins.
Each Dream Catcher player will have a "buddy" to help them out with playing the game, whether it be fielding, batting or running the bases.
